Job Description ⍡intain and process period transaction data and reports, and daily revenue reporting.
⁵dit guest checks for pricing and sales tax errors.
epare the gross revenue report for all hotel managers.
Ⅾsure that trial is in balance by the close of each shift.
epare a summation of all house charges and all credit card vouchers accepted by the hotel; and reconcile same with the trial balance.
℥termine the correct cash figure based on point-of-sale reports minus corrections and adding machine tape of the drop sheet.
▥rify food & beverage figures; prepare the daily food & beverage sales summary and distribute to management.
⁵dit the numerical sequence usage of restaurant and lounge guest checks.
epare over/short report for accounting and restaurant.
st all late charges and all guest check corrections to guest folios in time for express checkouts.
⁵dit guest accounts to ensure that room rates and market codes are correct and congruent.
⁵dit group accounts to ensure that postings to these accounts are in accordance with the sales contract.
st room and tax to all active guest accounts.
⒵n all computer reports necessary to complete accounting documents.
≮put report figures; complete reports according to standards
Ⅱch associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management
Desired Profile Position : Income Auditor
Reporting To : Assistant Financial Controller
Qualification:Graduate from Commerce background.
Non-Graduate Associate exhibiting high level of Financial and Management skills may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
