Technical Support Engineer
at PAWA INTL in London, UK
Basic tasks:
- qualify, analyse, investigate and reproduce our customers\' complex technical issues to provide \'best in class\' assistance and solutions
- support for the implementation, configuration, usage and optimization of our Enterprise solutions
- responsible for relaying important information to customers and by collaborating with our Development Team
- troubleshooting problems and timely resolution of customer issues
- realisation and continuous improvement of our internal processes (ISO 9001)
You will work in an environment in which developing yourself will be part of your daily tasks. A state-of-the-art workplace will be at your disposal and you will work with the most modern software technologies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or higher in an engineering, computer science, software or IT related discipline.
• Administration- and/or programming skills in Web-Technologies (like Webserver, Java, Javascript, Servlet Engine, LDAP, DOM, XML/XSL/DTD, HTML, etc.)
• Fluent English speaker with either French or German skills; additional languages (like Italian, Spanish, etc.) are a plus
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide creative solutions
• Ability to quickly master new products and technologies
• An organized, methodical and autonomous way of working
• Communication and presentation skills, team attitude, a confident and friendly manner.
Ideal candidates:
• Knowledge of typesetting terms and publishing software (like Arbortext) is useful
• Familiarity with Database Systems (like Oracle©, SQL-Server) is helpful
• Experience with Repository and/or PDM/PLM-Systems (like PTC’s Windchill® Applications, Documentum, IBM DB2 Document Manager, Oracle iFS, MatrixOne©, Enovia©, SmartTeam©, etc.) are beneficial
