Job Description
Job Summary â (Role Summary)

Manage and oversee human resources roles and responsibilities to drive results in all BSC- India administrative and operational teams. Facilitates delivery of team member selection, compensation and benefits, attendance management and payroll process support. Enforce legal/government regulations. Oversees the implementation of new hire training and organizational development in cooperation with functional Operational Teams. Advise management staff regarding updated governmental regulations and employee relations. Ensures the maintenance of employee records and support office activities.


Desired Candidate Profile
1.Essential Duties and Responsibilities â (Key Activities
Policy Administration â
â Create goals and responsibilities driving adherence to Human Resources policies and Employee Relations issues in department and center locations.
â Assure company compliance with legal and government labor laws within regional office, HR records retention, fair employment practices and other government guidelines.
â Lead employee contract administration and staff welfare programs.
â Recommend local compensation strategy, administration and merit processes.
â Ensure local compliance and completion of mid year and annual Performance Management Programs.

Recruiting and Hiring Programs â

â Develop and facilitate candidate identification, recruiting, screening, and hiring programs for all administrative and operational departments.
â Collaborate, coordinate and update global development of BSC- India job descriptions.
â Create best practices in order to improve procedures and programs.

Reporting-

â Create and maintain HR metrics to include retention rates, compensation and payroll data, employee job and position data, demographics and performance management.
â Migrate employee records and payroll processes to ADP/PeopleSoft.
â Work with Corporate Office to ensure all required reports are completed in a timely/accurate manner.

Employee Relations â

â Execute preventive labor relation activities. Supports leadership to resolve employee issues and provide directs contact for team members.
â Advise employees of all leave management options and policies and insures compliance and tracking of leaves.
â Work with disability claims and coordinate with insurance providers.
â Responsible for needs assessment, development, and implementation of HR training and development programs.
â Create and monitor employee involvement committee.
â Develop and fosters employee feedback and recognition programs.
â Create and monitor local employee retention and succession plans.
â Assure compliance with corporate performance management processes, employee climate/pulse surveys and STI plans.
â Oversee employee disciplinary actions and progressive disciplinary policies.
â Promote and administer employee benefit programs.

Communications Best Practices and Support â

â Create standard policies, practices and programs such as professional office etiquette, dress code, etc.
â Update local Human Resources Intranet page.
â Oversee creation, implementation and updates of local employee handbook and migration to intranet.

2.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education â
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

Experience â
6 to 10 years progressive work related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position as well as 3 to 5 years prior supervisory or team leader experience.

Technical Skills and Knowledge â
â Demonstrated knowledge of labor / government laws and corporate guidelines governing employee relations and administration.
â Demonstrated understanding of human resources policies and procedures.
â Demonstrated experience with performance management processes and tools.
â Demonstrated experience in developing and managing various compensation and incentive programs (base pay, sales incentive, shift premiums, recognition, etc.)
â Strong problem solving skills.
â Demonstrated experience in managing a high volume recruitment function.
â Demonstrated experience in assessing training needs, developing programs, implementing and managing of programs on an ongoing basis.
â Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems to included HRIS/ERP systems.
â Demonstrated knowledge of various payroll systems and reporting tools.
â Demonstrated experience in leading and developing people.
â Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors and/or staff.

3. ACCOUNTABILITY

Number of employees supervised: Varies depending on Center size.

Annual operating and/or payroll budget(s): Varies depending on Center size.

Decision Making Responsibilities:
â Represents center and corporation in court cases regarding unemployment claims, discrimination claims and compensation claims.
â Drives implementation of key recruiting and training programs contributing to revenue targets and productivity objectives.
â Decisions or recommendation could result in delays and/or modification to projects or operations causing considerable expenditure of time, human resources or funds.
